Anyone who owns this 5.4 Triton lives in fear of a spark plug change going wrong. This tool helped me to remove the plugs easily and without damage. Here's my method: Unscrew each connector about 1/4 turn. Spray CARB CLEANER into the plug recess and continue to the next plug while spraying the threads. and spray, you can turn on the first plug again. Loosen one or two turns at a time, then retighten one turn. Repeat as many times as necessary to fully loosen the threads and carefully remove the plug. If the inner sleeve does not grip the plug, use a short length of fuel line to tape it to the plug for removal. TAKE YOUR TIME!
