You know I bought this Calabash Gourd Gourd Steel Whiskey Bottle for myself because of its symbolism. Calabash represents a lot for many people, and overall the quality is very good. Strong steel walls, not too cheap leather harness/nest, but a COVER. ABOUT THE COVER. I've had more fights with the cap than with people I really hate. Something in the washer or plug in the cap absolutely refuses to protect against a roof leak. That's a big deal for a bottle this good, as it's essentially half the bottle's function. You can cook with steel, you can clean steel, you can do A LOT with just one hull. It's high quality but the LID refuses to stop/seal the water. In a way, the symbolism of the abundance of water flowing freely from the mouth of a gourd bottle is beautiful and poetic, and I appreciate it, but I need a bottle to keep it. water in guys. What happens if I go out on the trail and MY BOTTLE VAPORIZES ALL THE WATER? This is a great product, please correct this defect.
