Review on πŸ‘Ά Maxi-Cosi Pria Max 3-In-1 Convertible Car Seat Review: Nomad Sand Edition by Julie Cuevas

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Plush but plastic in the convertible

My first impression is that it will be very comfortable for my baby. There are certain disadvantages - even with a towel this is not the case. I reclined enough so I'll swap out the towel for a bigger one so my 15 month old is a little more reclined. I'm 5ft 1in and this car seat almost touches the driver's seat (this gets very difficult when my husband is driving). I understand how people have latch problems. Due to the width of the car seat, you cannot pull the belt at a right angle. I fixed this by removing the cup holder and threading the ribbon through. Then I knelt on the car seat, squeezed it together and pulled the seat belt through the cup holder. Once it felt secure, I slipped it back through the hole and replaced the cup holder. This may not work for everyone, but it worked for me. I like the headrest on this compared to my Britax (broken styrofoam was the reason I didn't buy another Britax or replace the headrest) but I do miss the Britax steel frame. This one is lighter but mostly plastic so it feels a little less secure.
