Review on Alien Sunshade Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018) – Full Length Mesh Sun Shade For Jeep JK 2 Door - Blocks UV by Leo Govindan

I bought this and it shipped same day! My Jeep is new and I was very happy to make it mine. The package came in a very nice box with an excellent presentation. The kit even includes a fun little alien toy. Glad to get it - let it sit in the sun for a bit to smooth out some of the wrinkles and get to work. I don't know if it's written elsewhere, but this thing isn't as big as I thought it would be. When I first took it to the hole in the roof I thought it would NEVER fit. I took the straps out of my bag and noticed I was missing one of my medium sized straps. I'm going on a trip and I needed it so I had to improvise (see photo). If you lose one of these cords you'll knock out a tooth or get hit in the head like I did. After stretching and praying, it was finally put on. Looks ok and I'm considering sending it back if I can't get a replacement cord and if the mesh doesn't come loose. I will update this in a few days after riding it. Completely. I would like to say that either the next day or a few days after writing this review I received an email from the owner of Alien Shade. In fact, he told me he had already sent me the missing bungee. To my surprise, not only was my missing bungee in my package, but a whole bag of bungees of various sizes to borrow, as well as a cool Jeep keychain that was purple to match my color. It was all beautiful and majestic, but what shocked me the most was a handwritten letter from the owner. HANDWRITTEN with ink and all (yes, I checked! Ha). This seems to be an ancient practice these days. I'm one of many people who have bought from them, but the fact that someone climbed the ladder that high and took matters into their own hands to fix it solidified the integrity of this company for me. I've added new photos of my jeep with all the correct bungee cords. I wasn't paid to write this and didn't get a discount on my goods. I'm just an ordinary Jane who thinks we should write good reviews for good companies. Thanks Alien Shadow!
