Review on 🎀 SMK480M Singing Machine Kids Portable Bluetooth Sing-Along Speaker with Wired Microphone by Stacia Payne

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The concept is great but the execution leaves a lot to be desired

My 4 and 5 year olds love it (that's why it gets 2 stars instead of 1). They love to sing and dance and are likely to become great karaoke singers as they get older because they always pretend to sing into a microphone (be it a spoon, chalk or whatever they can find). I thought it would be perfect for her. They love it because they have no idea it's not working properly (maintaining a stable Bluetooth connection is a joke, and you literally have to put your mouth on the mic to sing with it). It works for my girls because they think the mic should be on their mouth when they sing and when the bluetooth turns off they think it's ok and just keep singing. Not only does it have features that don't work properly, it also lacks features that should work (like a volume control for parents to turn the volume down, because there's nothing like relaxing and suddenly hearing how this thing explodes while your daughter sings something like death metal). Inside). The idea is great, but the implementation is completely screwed up.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Low maintainability
