My son is now a week old and in ICU and I can't even tell you how much this change sleeping bag has saved his life. First, it is closed with zippers on both sides so that the monitor cables can be pulled out from below. Second, once he's in his mamara, I can just unzip and let his little legs out so he can be properly zipped into his mamara while he continues to swaddle at the same time and uninterrupted. It also made changing a diaper MUCH easier for the same reason. The material is so soft, very breathable (the hospital has diaper bags but they made him too hot and when he got his temperature taken he was always in his 99s but after unpacking a few times he was back to normal .But that's not a problem when he's in this sleeping bag.) 3. My son scratches himself but also likes to keep his hands up and close to his face, which this sleeping bag allows him to do by keeping his hands closed and still wraps. The fit is absolutely perfect for him as a newborn (he's 6lb 6.8oz and 19 1/4 inches) and he has plenty of room to grow. If I had any complaints at all I wish they came in 2 packs or a little cheaper so I could get more. But absolutely worth every penny.
