Unfortunately COVID-19 has made me somewhat of a face mask 'expert'. I ordered 3 of these in total, one for me, one for my wife and one for my son. The great irony of this is that they are made in China, the country where this virus originated, and that annoys me a lot. But that's a discussion for another time. I like these masks because they fit very well. When you wear them, they don't open at the side, making for a really comfortable fit. The cotton material is soft but allows you to breathe as well as through the fabric. It also passes what I like to call the "efficiency test". Can you blow out a match through the mask? If you can, drop this mask, it has no effect. This mask, which I am happy to share, passes the test well. My only complaint is that it's ridiculously expensive. Will the Chinese benefit again from the virus they unleashed? If you are price sensitive this may not be what you are looking for. The product is recommended, but other factors that I have mentioned must be taken into account. I'm not sure I need to mention this, but any mask you buy should be washed in soap and hot water. I've seen pictures of some countries making these masks and it's not exactly hygienic. It's actually pretty dirty.
