Rusty metal stains on my clothes!

This iron left white residue on my clothes right out of the box. Holes in the iron form a white oxide, which then deposits on clothing. I had to swipe and walk across the area multiple times. Today I pushed the steam button and it left a red rust stain on the iron steam hole pattern on my expensive shirt, it's ruined. The bottom line is that this iron is made from cheap metals that oxidize with water. Useless!
