Installed on Scooter Honda Ruckus 2014

My wife's car died (a few months after paying it off) and I use it for errands, shopping etc. So I needed saddlebags - these bags work great. You save a lot more than you think. I put a gallon of almond milk on one side and various other foods on the other. I carry a backpack when I need more, but if you have a few small/medium items, you still don't need to carry a backpack. I used 2 per hole under the seat. The seat would not close so I cut a hole in the flaps that fit together (saddlebags are 2 pieces) to allow the seat latch to go through. It works great. I have an alarm on my scooter that will go off if the bike is tampered with and even if someone is fiddling with the saddlebags. I also have an alarm system with multiple steel zips under the seat, that probably helps. Using steel zippers (at least 2 for each hole) would make removing this saddlebag from a bike, motorbike, scooter etc quite a challenge. It won't be a quick cut. I'll admit that this is more of an overview of zippers, but I want to provide information on how to use them most effectively. Saddlebags have ribs on the edge of the bags themselves. I have also used zip ties to attach part of the bag to the scooter frame and they are incredibly strong. They look nice and close well. They are faux leather but go well with my black scooter. If you want really expensive ones, then maybe buy real leather. If you're a motorcyclist who rides your bike a lot and you care about quality over a lifetime, then you might buy real leather saddlebags and skip these, but if you're a cyclist, occasional motorcyclist, etc., then probably, will be perfectly fine.
