How I tried to automate:
With the help of Xiaomi Clearglass BLE sensor (already was), Wifi-BLE xiaomi Gateway (already was) and Xiaomi IR emulator (had to be bought), we managed to set up/off.
But the Xiaomi Mi Home cloud has a strange feature - if you ask the script to execute a command at a humidity of less than 55%, then this Chinese cloud will give a command strictly if the humidity on the sensor was above 55% and immediately became less than 55%. Those. if the command did not work during this transition, then you will have a humidity of 25%, this cloud does not really care - it waits when it is > 55% and immediately becomes < 55%. Healed by triggering a ladder: <55%, <50%, <45%, <40%. - this is incl. , >60%, >65%, >70%. this is off.
Also, since there is no separate button on the remote control. and off, then giving the command on. he can turn it off. and vice versa. So far, I have come up with a solution in the form of a smart socket, which, when the humidity is exceeded, will be hard disconnected from the network.
There is a strong desire to tear the control board out of my coffin and insert a normal Rasberry PI with its own logic + external BLE hygrometer. Can I reduce the fan speed at the same time?

Pros

Really powerful unit. Before that, there was xiaomi with disks and a tank volume of 4 liters, so he barely squeezed 40% humidity in the winter in the bedroom (the thion breather worked at 2-4 speeds). In a couple of hours, this aggregation arranged the tropics with 75% humidity and with all the resulting condensates on the windows and puddles on the windowsills (micro-ventilation is on by default) in an apartment of 60 sq. m. It also collects dust, the tank before cleaning shows a strange yellow turbidity with an incomprehensible sediment. This monument has a tank of 30 liters (I didn’t measure it exactly, I believe the Americans), it usually evaporates to a minimum (about 1-2 liters remain and it is cut down due to lack of water in the tank) in ~ 30-50 hours. Once every 1-2 days, it’s not so annoying to roll the coffin to the toilet and draw water from the hygienic shower through the window. Once every 4-5 days I pour out all the water, wash it with a brush from shoes, fill in a full tank and throw 3 tablets of furacilin (otherwise it stinks after 1-2 days). Once every 1-2 months I unscrew the screws (otherwise, damn it, the Americans didn’t come up with it) to get the filter and wash it under a shower without a nozzle (high pressure). Someone wrote that the filter can be washed in the dishwasher, but I have not tried it.

Cons

1. Noise. On the minimum mode, it makes noise so that you will not hear the interlocutor at 1 meter from it. Suitable for a 3-room apartment, if one room is allocated for it. Only a distance of 5 meters allows you not to be nervous because of the noise. If someone hopes to put him in the bedroom, then this is only on condition of congenital / acquired deafness, or sleeping next to a roaring jet engine of an airplane does not cause any emotions. I’m thinking what to do with it - get rid of it in favor of low-noise ultrasonic or endure. Although he copes with his task 100%, after such power he realized that small decorative ultrasonic boxes will not cope. I decided to wait, maybe the Stockholm syndrome of sympathy for this noisy terrorist will develop, and in a fit of anger I will not throw him out. 2. This miracle is not so easy to automate. After plugging into the outlet, you need to press the button on the IR remote control on / off. (not separately on, off separately), the "humidification" button (without a humidification mode xs why is it needed at all) and possibly the speed button (3 modes, the smallest by default).
