This lighting arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. The included screws are small and not very long and are used to hold the light in place through deep recessed holes. However, the bottom panel of our closet is thin, so we chose not to attach the fixings directly to the underside of our closet. We have a small piece of wood that we attached the lights to with the screws provided. We then used small, smooth headed screws that won't interfere with the storage of items in the closet, by inserting them into the drilled holes in the bottom of the closet and lining them up with the drilled holes in the piece of wood that the fasteners were attached and fastened to Part with nuts and bolts, washers to hold the whole assembly to the bottom of our wall cabinet. The board is so thin that you don't see it when you stand in front of the cabinet. Our lights are brown rather than white and go well with our brown wooden cabinets. We have a plug in installation and if we need to remove the lamps we can easily do so as they are attached to the board and not the cabinet itself.
