They fit very well in the rear seat windows of my 2001 Volvo station wagon, protect from the sun, protect the leather seats from UV rays and also significantly reduce the temperature inside the car on a hot sunny day meetings, whether parking or driving on the road. The fit is great and they stay in place when opening and closing the doors with no problems and as they go over the door frame they don't interfere with raising or lowering the windows at all. They also don't block my view and I didn't have to take them off when driving at night. However, there is a downside to using it. You must take them off in the rain if you have parked outside. Since these curtains cover the outside of the frame including the gasket, when it rains they will disrupt the gasket seal and cause water to seep into the door gap. I haven't noticed water getting into the car itself, but when I open the door after it's raining, water pours from the bottom sill onto the floor. Because this window sill slopes slightly outwards (below), water will always flow onto the floor, but I am concerned that if it rains heavily or for a very long time, water would enter the car, which is a major disadvantage for me.
