This kit was exactly what I was looking for when I decided to set up a balloon situation for my son's prom! I mean probably yes since it was my first attempt at doing something like this. The colors matched his school colors perfectly and added a bit of festivity with gold confetti balloons that helped me incorporate other party supplies. Of the 100 balls, 98 made it to the final phase. One had a visible hole at the top and the other had a slow leak somewhere. So I was very happy about that. I recorded balloon tying and glue dot instructions on YouTube and was good to go. I ended up not using string as I tied 2 balloons together and could still use the garland strip. The balloons were taken outside and it was a bit windy. Not a single ball flew away! I was impressed. BUT 2 questions. #1 The first time I ordered a kit, I never received it. On the way he got lost. You will never see him again. I called 2 days later and they immediately sent another one. Received in 2 days. Which was close while I waited until the last minute to come up with this idea. #2 Balloons lost their glossy shine within 24 HOURS. Few of them were still glowing on the day of the event, less than 48 hours after I blew them up. SUGGESTIONS * PLEASE invest or use an electric or automatic air inflator. It took both of us about 45 minutes to accidentally inflate these balloons while watching TV. I would still inflate the hand pump that I also bought. * Wait until the last possible (safe and reasonable) day to inflate these balloons to keep the shine.
