Review on Wireless RGB LED Spot Light with Remote, Battery Operated Accent Lights, Dimmable Art Light with Rotatable Head & Timer - Perfect for Artwork, Painting, Statues (Pack of 2) by Tim Paolucci

We bought Ledera LED spotlights to highlight the decoration for the Christmas tree decorations. We were excited to illuminate our treetop, but were soon very disappointed with the headlights' performance. Read our impressions. -- NOT LIGHT: With the ornament only 4 feet away from me and at max intensity, I figured 2 lights would hardly be enough to achieve the desired beautification effect. They claim 80 lumens, I don't know about lumens, but it wasn't very bright. -- BAD BATTERY: The most annoying feature of the projector is the battery life. We installed 3 freshly charged batteries and achieved about 35 hours of continuous operation at maximum brightness before the batteries were empty. The seller never mentions how long the batteries last, and when answering a question I asked about how long the batteries would last, the seller dodged a very direct question. -- NON-MFR SELLER: Lamps are shipped in a regular cardboard box with a simple small label identifying the product. This along with the many nearly identical spotlights sold at Revain are manufactured elsewhere and Ledera is the retailer and doesn't really have direct knowledge of the lamps' characteristics or design. -- ADHESIVE DAMAGE: Some time after the batteries died, the lamps fell off the wall. We used the adhesive discs that came with the lamps and attached them to a fairly flat painted wall. -- REMOTE CONTROL WORKS WELL: The remote worked well at about 20 feet. Bottom line: short battery life can make this impractical when batteries are hard to come by for replacement. There are several nearly identical products sold under different names, likely made by the same company and sold by different sellers, and I expect the poor battery life will be the same. I will try to return the devices as they don't work very well.
