The size on this works incredibly small. My daughter is 8 years old, she is tall and thin. I ordered size 8-9 thinking it would be a bit bigger at the waist which would be good to leave room to tuck my shirt in. When I opened it from the box I thought they sent the wrong size because it looked like something for a child but the tag said 8-9. We tried it anyway to see if there was any stretch and it just bruised her ribs and stomach. I believe you need to order about 3-4 sizes up for it to fit. Luckily I was able to return.
