I was looking for an efficient way to store my jewelry. I needed something that would allow me to view the finds so they would be easily accessible and take up minimal space. This organizer is just the ticket. The cups are larger than I expected - a really good size to fit a lot of things. 2" eyelet pins sit well in the mug. The design isn't the best hence only 4 stars. It is however quite strong and can easily be strengthened if you replace the screws holding the mug attached to the base with slightly longer ones and then add a screw. That should make it almost bulletproof! The cups are easy to remove - push slightly at the back and pull at the front. To put it back on the base, turn the mug so the raised seam holding the lid is slightly off-center and slide the mug back. She will fit right in. I am happy with my purchase and have bought another one.
