For more than a year I have been looking for a warm, soft, light, beautiful and inexpensive bedspread. It is too much!?! I'm ashamed to admit how much time and money I've spent searching, but it's over now. This duvet meets all specifications. The color (Sage) was spot on and I didn't have any of the issues I've read about in other reviews. No stains or stains, blanket was exactly as pictured. Well packaged, not "repacked". I don't doubt the complaints of others, but I'm glad I took the risk. I'm glad I chose this blanket and my dogs now have a $200 blanket with sleeping blanket. Yes, I am that happy. Ps I bought another double bed and two single beds for my kids. :-)****UPDATE**** Two things --1) These comforters are deceptively warm. They're thin and light, but nice and warm if you sleep on one leg (like me), which solves the problem. We're starting to warm up in Arkansas, so it might have something to do with that. 2) As I said before, I bought my children for everyone. My four year old is still in the "I just want a SPECIAL blanket to sleep with!" phase, so I gently tuck her new Sherpa in and let it go. And here I come in a few days after and she has thrown aside her special blanket and is all snuggling up with her Sherpa! She remains attached to her "Linus" but has also adopted the Sherpa as her own. None of the others showed any discoloration for what it's worth.
