I bought this for my son when he was 5 months old to shape his head as he was getting a little flat on the back. His head has gotten better in the last month but I think it's because he's more sedentary and more mobile. When I washed the pillow it shrunk and discolored and the company was very kind to send a replacement when I asked for it. The pillow is clogged with cotton balls after a short time. That also happened with the exchange, so it could just be the material. My son is now 7 months old and has outgrown the pillow although I have seen him detach from the pillow many times. I really appreciate the pillow, when I used it it helped my child sleep well.
