Review on Casio 10397883 Genuine Factory Replacement by Rodney Harris

This is a factory replacement band so I expect it to last about as long as the original which only lasted about 2.5 years. For a watch that is considered durable, the main downside is the strap! The band is strong when new but begins to tear with use and then fails within a few months. Casio: Why not sew in the fabric when forming the strap? This keeps the group together even if it breaks and gives extra leeway in the event of a sudden failure. And something else. This tape is so cheap to mass produce (molded resin) but it retails for over $20?! I thought Casio was a value so what to do with it?
