Not suitable for NO fish. While bettas can survive in such small aquariums, their quality of life is very, very low. It's like being locked in the bathroom and being fed. You would survive but you would hate your life. Goldfish grow huge and live long lives. You need a fish filter and heater for fish like betta. These are tropical fish. You still have to feed them, they don't survive on plant debris alone. This is how you get bettas that live less than a year. Before you release these beautiful and innocent creatures to these tiny aquariums, study the fish for goodness sake.
