I bought two pairs of these, size 8short and 10short. I'm 5ft 3in and the length of the short size is perfect. I won't tell you my weight, sorry. I usually buy size 10 jeans from Old Navy and Levi's. While both sizes fit me (8 and 10), size 10 fits much better for the job. The waist is a little tight in both sizes, but loosens up throughout the day. Functional pockets: two front pockets and one back pocket. This is very important because too many women's pants suggest we don't need pockets, which is so annoying. I bought size 8 dark gray and size 10 brown. I'm satisfied because while I can wear jeans to work, it's always safer to wear proper pants. They're not too stuffy, cheap enough to buy a few pairs and I can just wash them with everything else. The material is not too thin. It's pretty cute. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more if I get them dirty.
