I may have a knee replacement in a year. This brace helps keep my bones in the correct position. I have tried several other braces and settled on these. It has an open back so it doesn't stray below the knee. It's relatively thin, so it goes with my dress pants. (Müller's suspenders with metal loops are a little more supportive, but they bunch up under some of my pants.) Please note that some of these with the same part number do not have metal springs sewn into the side. They come together without springs so you need to make sure they come with steel reinforcement.
