This serves as a decent cake container with some limitations.1. The lids on both are so loose that the lids fall off as soon as you turn the container upside down. There is no link to them. They simply sit on top of the container and resemble lids rather than the airtight lids that would fit on a Tupperware container. If you're traveling with them or want to make sure they're fresh, be sure to cover the container with plastic wrap, then cover with a lid. 2. They fit an old-school 9-inch Mirro pan that's just over 9.75 inches in diameter. This is without the cake and the overhang of the crust. That being said, I can't run my index fingers down either side of the container to get the cake, so I'm forced to get creative with forks/spatulas. Given those two issues, I think they should be cheaper, but they'll take the cake if that's what you're after.
