Revainrating 4 out of 5

All round good monitor

I'm writing this review to help others understand that I wasn't the only one with this problem, but I'll address this issue soon. Image quality: - At this price the images are good, especially when HDR is enabled then you really see the difference - Non-HDR rating: - Average 5/10 but good for everyday use - Mainly because the image is set to 32 is not so sharp -inch monitor with a resolution of 1920x1080. - I can see pixelated stairs around images from 3-4 feet away - It's not a big deal to be honest, but I'm used to 4k displays and I can tell the difference is everywhere. - HDR enabled Rating: - 9/10 - Colours, detail and image quality are surprisingly very good - Can't say I've ever noticed pixel stepping when HRD was enabled. Work: - Ideal for everyday work. - The screen is big enough that I can see everything much closer compared to a 13 inch monitor. I see very small pixel ladders around the images, but it's fine for general use and everyday work. Gaming (everyday) - While this isn't a gaming monitor, HDR-enabled games still look surprisingly good on this monitor. at this price thanks to HDR10 capabilities. I mainly used it on my PS4 Pro to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Mass Effect (Andromeda and the remastered version of the trilogy), Tomb Raider, GTA 5 and all games looked very detailed and crisp. satisfying and pleasing to the eye! - No lag, no afterimage and no discoloration. In other words, smooth and clean. Lighting: This monitor gets really really bright! Enough to hurt your eyes! Terrible! - I ordered two of these monitors to use at the same time. - The stand of the first monitor broke about 5-6 months after ordering - The stand of the second monitor broke about 6-7 months after - The monitor is on the hard side and it's not easy. Those plastic stands are definitely cheap and can't support the weight of the monitor! - I was very upset that out of all the companies some part of LG failed me so quickly! - Others have experienced it, and it's true! Be careful with the stands! They break fast! I use my monitors without stands and only tilt them so they stand upright, but not so much that they recline. Yes it sucks :/- I'll try to find special stands to move them around. The stand also has issues, overall this is a great monitor for the price!
