If you're looking for a durable belt that's a little stiffer than the soft and thin leather that most belts typically cover, then this is exactly what you need. The strap will of course tear a little over time. I like the quality of the leather, very smooth but not shiny, and the lighter than usual metal buckle. The buckle is sewn as opposed to rivets which didn't fit me before. There are holes all over the strap so you don't run out of holes (if you lose a lot of weight). In terms of size, I have a 33" waist and the 36" belt length was just right. Great belt, especially for the price.
