I loved how durable these cables felt once I opened the box and started using them - the cable itself is cotton wrapped. However, after 2 months one thing stopped working completely, then that. Now a little more than 4 months have passed and all four cables are either completely unusable or sufficient. I've wiped them down with rubbing alcohol, tried different outlets, tried turning the cord upside down myself before plugging it into the phone, and couldn't "fix" the ones that stopped working. The main issue seems to be the metal chip itself (which carries power to charge your phone when you plug it into the Lightning connector) - it's obviously not very well made compared to Apple's genuine Lightning cables. General? Temporary solution. You might want to spend a few bucks more on a similar set of cables from another company to have reliable chargers for at least 4+ months!
