Review on πŸ’ͺ High-performance SanDisk 8GB SDHC Memory Card with Retail Package: An Ideal Choice! by Adam Rogers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Small, Affordable, High-Capacity Storage

When I bought the NIX 10.4 inch digital photo frame, I knew I had to buy memory for the device as it didn't have any built-in memory. I know, but the device had everything I wanted. RAM was down to near zero, making it entirely possible to shell out $6.99 for a new "SanDisk 8GB Class 4 High Capacity SDHC (SDHC) card." Transfer speeds of up to 2.5MB/s. The device comes with a 5 year limited warranty and is fully compatible with all SD compatible devices. First impression: I love this card. Plug n Play. The SanDisk 8GB Class 4 SD High Capacity (SDHC) card is easy to use, and as mentioned above, the drive is designed for Windows Vista, Windows XP and Mac operating systems (OS) X. All operating systems have the ability to automatically detect new hardware. e with plug-n-play technologies. No software required to install. Once inserted into an available SD card slot, the SanDisk 8GB Class 4 SD High Capacity (SDHC) SD card automatically configures itself as a removable drive and is therefore accessible like any hard drive or CD/ROM drive. They can even be formatted as bootable devices. File transfers through the SD card slot are quick and painless, and to date I haven't experienced or expected any file corruption. Note that if your computer already has most drives mapped, like I do, Windows XP/7 may not assign the next open drive letter to your removable media. it happened to me If you insert a SanDisk 8GB High Capacity SDHC Class 4 (SDHC) card and get a message that new hardware has been found and is ready to use, but the device has not been assigned a drive letter, you need to go to Control Panel/Administrative Tools. Tools/Computer Manager/Disk Manager to manually assign a drive letter. But like I said above, I bought this device to store pictures for use with a 10.4 inch NIX digital photo frame. After copying said photos onto the card, I deleted them from my Windows 7 computer. I inserted them into the NIX and they were recognized immediately. There is nothing easier. Versatile, fast, and large capacity to replace cumbersome floppy drives or lower capacity flash drives, this is nothing short of SanDisk's 8GB Class 4 High Capacity SDHC (SDHC) card.
