Review on Lee's 18673 Large Break Resistant Specimen Container: Durable and Dependable! by Josie Stevens

Useful for so many things

I bought this product primarily as a container for new fish, shrimp and snails while I break them in. I also use it as a storage container when catching fish with a net to move them between tanks. If I suspect a fish might have a health issue, I'll add it here for a good overview. I hang it on the side of the tank and put my landscaping tools in it and then toss the clippings in while I work. When cleaning tanks I use it for my scrubbers. I'm sure there should be more, this thing walks with me around my fish rooms all day. It will hang nicely on the outside of my rimmed tanks. It wobbles a bit, but that's probably because there's no standard depth the holder has to accommodate. The slope has no influence on the function. Of course, it is not as transparent as glass, but everything is fine with vision. I want it to be a bit wider front to back so it's a little easier to get the net in there and release the fish. I thought it was pretty expensive for what it is but it gets the job done. I've been thinking about buying a small bucket of paint at the dollar store that has a handle to hang on the cans and a spout, but it's not clear. Of course I benefit a lot from this product. He's strong too.
