Well I bought this towel with the YogaRat towel and I'm sure I like it better. Both absorb moisture very well, are lighter and definitely outperform normal terry towels. But the Luxe Towel's tiny microfibers don't pull on my hair as much, resulting in less frizz when I let it dry in a Luxe Towel than when I let it dry in a YogaRat Towel. I definitely recommend taking your hair off the towel after about 5 minutes if you don't want it to frizz. (By comparison, letting my hair dry in a regular t-shirt takes longer, but it doesn't frizz.) One more note about length. I have medium length hair, mid shoulder blade length. I bought a larger towel and definitely appreciated the extra size. A hand towel is so light compared to a terry towel that the extra volume doesn't really matter. However, I could have gotten away with the smaller size, but I would have to tuck some of the hair in instead of just wrapping and folding it. So I am very satisfied with this towel and will probably buy another one.
