Review on πŸ•Ά Infield Terminator UV 400 Safety Glasses: Optimal Eye Protection for Outdoor Activities by Jason Childs

Blocks more blue than Uvex SCT Orange lenses (both good and bad)

I have some bright blue LEDs that I use to test the ability of various blue light blocking lenses. With Uvex Skypers and Proteges (shade SCT-Orange) the blue blocking is deep, almost complete. If I would classify the Uvex as highly blue blocking then I would classify the Infield Terminator lenses as insane. Not completely, but definitely at least a small but noticeable notch over the Uvex lenses. These lenses are a bit darker overall than the Uvex which might explain this, although as mentioned in the title I would speculate that this could be both a good and a bad thing. When driving during the day, the green lights (which seem to emit tons of blue light) are almost invisible unless I'm paying very close attention. Also, the feeling can border on virtual reality if you're not used to the amount of blue blocking, while I didn't have that feeling with the Uvex SCT Orange lenses. These lenses and the Uvex SCT Orange lenses have their merits (and significant blue blocking anyway). The cost is quite cheap, so it's best to try one or the other for yourself and see which one works best. I have both Uvex goggles and these and have found that both work better in different situations. As for the lens tint, the main image seems to indicate that these are multi-tinted lenses. It is not. Rather, it's a uniform, fairly dark orange color, almost the exact color of an amber building flash. I have a pretty big head and they pinched a little at the beginning. They seemed to stretch out over my head over time, although maybe a "luxury" version of them with spring loops might be in order. The nose pad is a bit odd but functional. When I received them, the nose clip was completely bent to the side, but quickly adjusted to the center position. When I wear them the nose pad seems to adjust to my face shape, no complaints. Note that these are essentially goggles and therefore have safety frames, not the scammers' reading frames. In general, this is exactly what they claim. So there is no doubt in giving this 5 stars.
