This slider is amazing. It's very compact for the length you get thanks to its retractable base, a stable and comfortable grip for my A7RIII plus Sigma 14mm f1.8 and the adjustable casters on the legs allow for interesting movements when you're on the right surface and have space. After all, it's built like a small tank. I haven't dropped it or broken it. but I understand it will be able to handle serious use and travel with no issues. The only thing I'm really missing is panning/tracking capabilities. Some GVM sliders have a central shaft that can be moved to give you a pan or tracking effect with your camera. You don't have this option with this slider. However, I've seen others install the gimbal on a slider to take advantage of the gimbal's tracking ability, or you could install a moving head and do it manually. I will probably do that. One last thing, the speed can be slow for some but I think most of the time it will be ok for me otherwise I will just adjust it while editing.
