The one I got wasn't brown at all, it was white. It doesn't go with my wooden floors at all. The size was also not quite the promised five feet, but about two inches shorter. In my case this was not a problem. The product is very easy to cut with a sharp knife, which suits my application as I need two lengths, about two feet and three feet. Once secured to the ground it seems to hold up well, although it sticks out like a sore thumb.
