Review on Leatt Ultra 750 Hydration System by Pete Brown

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Disappointing. Too small to be useful. Not enough liquid, not enough storage space, bad connection with 5.5 Neck Brace.

I bought it and ended up sending it back. I have a Leatt 5.5 neck brace and am a DH/Enduro rider. I bought this in the hope that I could use it for longer days at the park when it's nice to have a drink while riding the elevator. First, it's tiny. .75L is 25 ounces, but if you really put 25 ounces in this thing, it's going to swell to the point where it's about to burst. I could get closer to 12-15 oz and that's not very far in terms of hydration packs. Better take a water bottle in the jersey or leave the bottle at the bottom of the ski lift when you are in the DH park. It's just too small to have the extra effort of hanging around the neck. Second, the attachment to the 5.5 mount is not very good. It's just some velcro. I thought Leatt would be smart for this thing for the price, but it's really just a bubble with their $70 logo on it. There's a tiny pocket you can put a few bucks and a bunch of keys in, but no more. All in all it was very disappointing.
