Didn't know I needed it in my life

So I'm making masks during the pandemic. Lots of fabric and lots of ironing. The little iron I had was just not designed for the purpose I was using it for and it failed. I found this iron and was told I could get same day delivery which was great because if I can't iron the fabric I don't make masks. First, it arrived in about 3 hours. Thank you, Revan! I have to say I had no idea what was missing from my ironing experience. It sounds a little odd, but iron technology is something I knew about. I can't even compare this iron to my old one. This iron has some weight, it makes pressing extremely easy without pressing as hard anymore. The surface of the iron is very smooth and glides easily over the fabric. This iron also has an amazing steam output. The lowest steam setting is like a sauna, only in a good way. I've only used the second steam setting once, you really don't need it that high for what I do. The steam is powerful and flattens both sides of the fabric without having to turn and re-iron it, which saved me a lot of time making the mask. The retractable cord is a great feature. The auto shut off feature is great as long sewing can make me forgetful. The jet for spraying water is good. I really like having a door to fill the water chamber. In fact, the only downside I can think of is that this iron drinks water in a way I've never seen before. On my first ironing session, I drank 2 glasses of water in about 30 minutes. Yes, two cups. In fact, I can ignore how well this iron steams fabric and just have a larger reservoir with water to fill up as needed. I definitely think it's worth the price. I am very happy with this purchase.
