Review on πŸ’ͺ Hydralyte Electrolyte Hydration Powder Packets - Energy Boost with Natural Caffeine: Green Tea, B12 & B6 Vitamins, Vitamin C & Zinc by Barbara Ortega

I wanted to like it. Excellent nutritional profile, dull taste and fizz.

First, note that this blend is actually bubbly. Nowhere on the packaging does it state that this is the case, so this came as a surprise to me. I happened to be near the sink when I spotted this, so no real harm was done to me or my clothes, but since I usually pour my drink mixes into a full bottle of water, put the lid back on and shake, it's so impossible with this mix . The bottle I poured it into sizzled to the brim and spilled a little, and I couldn't help but imagine that someone doing the same thing on the go would get upset if it got on their clothes or car seat . . Be careful, and if you put it in a water bottle, drink half of it first. Most hydration bags I've tried are flavorful enough to put 12-16 ounces of water in and taste good. This one tastes way too diluted with that amount of water. The label says 7 ounces and I recommend taking that advice. While I like the nutritional profile (electrolytes, caffeine, B vitamins), the flavor isn't my favorite. It would be better for those who are really crazy about lemon, lime and green tea. It's too tart and not sweet enough for me. The bubbly tingle doesn't last too long (drink within 10 minutes if you want to feel the tingle). Each sachet contains 100mg of caffeine, about the same as a cup of coffee. They are high in B6 and B12 compared to other products I've tried that advertise these 2 vitamins, 1323% and 9375% DV respectively.
