Review on πŸͺ’ Schick Hydro Skin Comfort Dry Skin 5 Blade Razor Refills for Men - 12 Count: Enhanced Comfort and Precision with Flip Trimmer by April Mitchell

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Great face system, not good for manscaping.

Schick Hydro 5 razor blade replacement cartridges are a great product. The biggest disadvantage of these blades is of course the price. These blades are expensive. Basically you pay 31/8 = $3.80 for each blade. General wear and tear of the blade requires replacement every two weeks. So you spend 3.80 / 14 = 27 cents on each shave. A shave costs 27 cents. But the Hydro 5 is great for facial shaving. When shaving the sides of the face and the jawline, the flip trimmer stays closed. With five blades, each strike makes for a very clean cut, while the rear guard prevents nicks and cuts. The moisture line is the final point of contact and soothes the face. When shaving areas that require precision, such as B. under the nose, the pop-up trimmer can be folded back. Now the rear guard stays out of the way, allowing you to reach those hard-to-reach areas for a perfect shave. One of the downsides of the Schick Hydro 5 is that it's not at all suitable for moonscaping. For the chest or pubic area, you're much better off with a non-protective dual blade system, like the Gillette Sensor Men's Replacement Blades, 10 Units, Men's Razors/Blades. Overall, I find these blades very valuable and will continue to use them. For Schick, however, it's a loss product, you get the original razor at a reduced price, and Schick pays for itself over time by selling replacement cartridges. But at 27 cents a shave, there's still strong value here. Just don't use them on any areas other than the face. highlighted.
