I originally got this to add to my 3D print head. Working life got in the way and I didn't fulfill it. Came back to catch my breath and was able to use this beautiful module in combination with my thermal imaging camera as shown in the photos. I am very happy to have the EO image which is closely related to the IR image so both sensors can be used seamlessly in my electronics repair/development efforts. Both the module and the board get a bit warm - I've attached them to the IR camera's metal body with thermal pads (this doesn't seem to affect the IR camera's operation in any way). Recommended for this or similar use cases. The autofocus works as advertised. You can manually control the focus and other camera settings from the device's control panel as shown in the attached images. Overall good value for a good OEM sensor. Watch after.
