I was looking for a shower that would help with my weak water pressure. I've used CVS brand names which didn't really help and then I found the ZenFresh device (previously reviewed) which did increase the water flow but (1) did this by making the spray thin and "prickly". ", which is suitable for adult skin. but may be uncomfortable for children or those with skin conditions (e.g. sunburned - the spray will be too harsh), and (2) hot water must be turned on fully as the fineness of the spray dissipates heat. After a few months this shower head cracked and ended up in the trash. Wirecutter recommended this Delta model as their top choice. I took a chance and ordered this and it is the best home shower I have ever had! Water flows in greasy, wet drops, like under a warm tropical rain. It is strong, but the drops are large, so they gently affect the skin. The shower head has a detachable hand-held unit that's controlled by pressing a silver button (circled in green in my photo) - one press is off, another is slower, the third is stronger. I originally thought you pressed that button to release the shower head, but it's designed for water pressure. The more important control to note is the one on the device's mouth, which controls whether or not water enters the handheld device's nebulizer, which surrounds the device's nebulizer. , or both sprays. The instructions on how to do this are not clear, so I have indicated in the photo with a red arrow that the lever should face the back wall so that water flows into both the hand and wall parts. The lever can be moved to a higher or lower position (indicated by yellow dotted arrows), but this will cut off the water flow to one of the two jets. As already mentioned, the best everyday position is directly against the back wall.
