Best sleeping/night sleep device I've ever used

This review is written from the perspective of a night user, not an athlete. As a disclaimer, Shock Doctor states that this product is not intended for nighttime use. I've been grinding and clenching my teeth for about 15 years. I've done so badly that I've cracked and chipped my teeth and even ground through fillings (not cheap!). During that time, I've tried about a dozen different types of sleepyheads, from the cheapest OTC capsules to $500 prescription-strength capsules. None of them worked - I either grind the material or press it so hard I wake up with a sore jaw and a headache. Who would have thought that a cheap sports cap would come to my rescue. It's really amazing how much it has improved my sleep and overall quality of life! The gel-like form acts like a cushion, absorbing the pressure of my squeeze while still being firm enough to prevent rubbing. This pillow effect is a game changer; If you're compressing, this is what you need. It's true that it's a bit bulky, but I've found that even though my mouth stays slightly open, no drool comes out. This has always been a problem with previous guards, so I love it! As a tip, I recommend submerging the front in water just before plugging it in. This helps position the front comfortably below the upper lip. And of course you want to rinse it out every morning and wash it with mild soap once or twice a week. Conclusion: If you are suffering, this is what you should try. For this price it is worth a try. I hope you get the same result as me.
