WOW! I've been obsessed with finding the perfect step stool for my kitchen and main living room for longer than I'd like to admit. I wanted something strong that could carry me, or pretty much anyone I can lean on (craftsman, dad, friend, etc.), and preferably be attractive and easily manoeuvrable. God, I found all that and more at Kikkerland step stools. I bought black and white checkered 8.5 inch chairs (holds up to 300 pounds) and 16 inch chairs (holds up to 400 pounds). They came in a box so light I couldn't even imagine they were the stools I ordered which "obviously" can support 300-400 pounds and yet they were, and it seems obvious that they really stand up (hold such a weight). While I haven't actually tested full weight, people between 175 and 260 pounds who have used mine have no doubt that they can easily and firmly hold what they claim - they are super strong! As for ease. use - I could not have dreamed of a better one. They fold in a second (literally I think) and are super thin so they fit anywhere — between my fridge and the wall, leaning against my filing cabinet, with little to no angle required to stay upright, and more. I can't think of practically anyone who wouldn't benefit from these chairs. And NONE of the above touches even on the price - it really is amazing! Thanks, Kickerland (and Revane)!
