I have a terrible environmental allergy which is causing lung problems and causing me to produce a lot of mucus. One day I looked at my trash and realized how many tissues I use in a day. Three years ago I made the conscious decision to switch to reusable handkerchiefs. I use linen, they are very soft but too thin. Decided to replace them with these. So far, so good. I warn you that as it is 100% cotton they will wrinkle when washed. This isn't a problem for me as I usually roll mine up and put it in my pocket. But if you're really picky about these things, it can be a deal breaker. If they hold up well I plan to buy more.
