This buildable toy is of a very very high quality. I can say that my daughter will love it as a first birthday present. She loves puzzles and games like this but I've found the other products aren't as durable and definitely won't last very long, this one seems strong enough to hold up and be passed on but it's a lot smaller than I expected , it would be a disappointment it is what i was hoping it would be much bigger as my daughter is teething very heavily now and she chews everything i give her its not small enough to choke on but i think , it would be much better if he was a bit more than that i would say a pretty good gift or just an everyday toy to practice colors and numbers and different shapes with all the little turtles that are removable and not everything made in one piece, each color set comes turtle piece by turtle so the turtles also make a puzzle which is very fun but also has a lot of different pieces so I would prefer that all it would be one piece and much more than her .
