Case doesn't fit Computers and accessories

I have a 2017 MacBook Air. The bottom half of the case doesn't fit like the photo I took. It also makes a strong clicking sound every time I open and close the case, but that's because the bottom half doesn't fit properly. I really wanted it to work.
