I've had my first Uncle Bill pair of tweezers for at least twenty years and they still work like they came right out of the box. As a carpenter and carpenter, I depended on my faithful Uncle Bills for decades without issue. Many tweezers on the market that are even more expensive do not stand up to the wear and tear. The steel provided is very hard and the tips of the tweezers are so sharp when viewed under magnification. Thinking, they get to the splinter without ripping off much skin. The only problem I had was when one of my people asked me to use them. Usually I have to look for them because they do their job! I recently ordered extra pairs for my backpack. The tweezers come in their own plastic tube with a metal screw cap. I always keep the pointed end near the metal top so I don't punch a hole in the plastic tube. Once you've tried Uncle Bills, you'll want to get your own shards to see how good they are! But I'm not suggesting you do that. Buy a pair; You will not be disappointed!
