The packaging of these products costs a little more than you would pay in a store. The soap lathers well and has a pleasant smell. It hydrates for the first few washes and then you feel like your skin is getting drier with use. This is good for travel or maybe for use when rotating products. It burns in different places, be careful if your child has sensitive skin - my baby will scream it hurts. When we use what's left of our base I make sure to rotate the product so we don't use it in the bath/shower every time, just wash areas like arms/legs/torso etc.
