I couldn't easily undo the u-bolts, I had to remove the nuts on one side completely because they weren't long enough. never mind Still fit from the factory. You will need an 18mm jack for this. None of my kits were 18mm but I already knew that so I ordered one from Revain for a few bucks. I think the long edge of the wheelbase is a little closer to the frame at the back so I had to mount the plate first and then lift the truck a few inches off the hitch and screw on the sumo springs. The springs don't quite touch the frame but can move 1/2 inch or less. Perfect for me because I want to maintain ride quality going downhill. I'm towing a 4,000 lb trailer. The installation took me 30-40 minutes. Never done anything like this before, but pretty easy. One month update: I towed a bit and this does the job. Lasts about half of the squat. I feel like I might want to do the front as well. The truck is a bit rough now.
