Very cute and not as obsessed with looks as I thought

I was a little nervous about this toy. I have an 11 month old daughter and this toy is very similar to what I would have loved as a child. I find it cute even as an adult, but I love things traditionally associated with femininity. So I was a bit apprehensive about getting this and passing on my love of pink and frills to my child (which as you know isn't very relevant at this age as she's just trying to eat it but here I am) . ). But it had a mirror and my kid loves the sight. So I ordered it and it's not bad. It has some pedagogical components (round lipstick, square puff, alphabet, etc.). It has a few modes - sing, pretend, and another one I can't remember (educational?). It tells her she looks "amazing" and says "oh-oh-la-la" and things like that, which some people might not like because it's focused on looks. At this age my little one obviously doesn't understand what that thing is saying and when she does I think there are worse things in life than a toy vanity telling you you look amazing. It's not a particularly annoying toy, even if it keeps activating the same song. I mean, I'm not going to run out and buy the album, but it could be a lot worse. Interestingly, she doesn't seem too keen on the mirror. I think it distorts a bit. All in all, I highly recommend this toy. Very cute, not too bothersome, fun for babies and (hopefully because I don't want to buy more toys) toddlers.
