Yes of course they are cute but they are so small and they shrink a lot after washing. Yes, they're cotton, so they'll shrink! The photos show my everyday socks that I bought from a local store (black and gray socks fit women's sizes 5-9) and you can see them shrinking! Before washing they were about the same length but still a little smaller. I can tell you that they are made of soft and high quality cotton. Not thin and the patterns are clear. It is an ideal gift for girls aged 8-14. I am an adult and I wear size 6 women's shoes (some brands are 6.5) and they only fit me because I WANT them to fit me. The leg is uncomfortable and cramped. I was going to return them but gosh they are adorable and cheap! So I decided to keep a few pairs just to wear on some days/special occasions. And I will give my 8 year old niece the age of majority. One star for cuteness. One star for the price.
