Waist size was ok. The legs would not bend or cut into my son's hips. It looks like they are not lined with an elastic seam. It's a shame as the waist and the rest of the underwear fit well. He couldn't carry them, even though the holes in his legs hurt. He's a skinny kid, almost no fat, so that's not the problem.
