This is the best shower item ever. I use this model instead of the newer one that Revain sometimes offers because that one has all the sides and the new one doesn't. I use it in the shower to hold soap and razors. It's absolutely awesome. The holes allow the soap to dry so it doesn't get weird and slippery and slimy and razors can also be tried out and don't need to be balanced on ledges or anything. It's crisp and unobtrusive and just sits well between the built-in lugs in my shower. I always have one (I accidentally broke my 4 year old by dropping him while scrubbing soapy water with a magic eraser so I got this one as a spare). All my friends wonder why they never thought about it. when you come. I highly recommend this product as a shower gel. I've used it in sinks etc but I think there are smaller sinks on the market for my (residential apartment!) sink and this is my choice for the shower. Hope this gives you some ideas!
